Pucci Painting & Refinishing is a licensed painting contractor based in Sonoma. We paint and refinish homes, estates and wineries across Sonoma Valley, inside and out, with the prep work that makes a finish last.
Our shop is on Arbor Ave in Sonoma, a few minutes from the Plaza. When you call a Sonoma painter, you want someone who knows how this valley treats a house: morning fog that settles in the low spots, long dry summers that bake south and west walls, and winter rain that finds every gap in old caulk.
We paint for those conditions. That means washing and scraping properly, repairing soft wood at sills and fascia, sealing joints, priming bare wood, and choosing coatings made for sun and moisture. The result is a finish that looks right against vineyards, oaks and stone, and still looks right years later.
Full repaints, trim, fascia, eaves and siding, prepped and coated for valley sun and winter rain.
Walls, ceilings, trim and doors, done cleanly around your household with low-odor paints.
Smooth, durable sprayed finishes on kitchen and bath cabinets, a fraction of the cost of replacing them.
Redwood and cedar decks, fences and gates sealed before they spend another winter wet.
Soft, matte mineral finishes and lime plaster that suit wine-country homes.
Tasting rooms, clubhouses and multi-building properties, scheduled around guests and harvest.
A license and insurance. We are licensed with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB #1162219) and insured. Ask any painter for both before you hire.
A written scope. Our estimates spell out the surfaces, the prep, the products and the number of coats, so you can compare bids on what is actually included.
Prep you can see. Most paint failures start with skipped prep. We wash, scrape, sand, caulk, repair and prime before the finish coats go on.
A clean job site. We protect floors, plants and furniture, and leave the property clean at the end of each day.
The City of Sonoma, Glen Ellen, Kenwood, Boyes Hot Springs, El Verano, Agua Caliente, Schellville and Vineburg, and on to Santa Rosa, Petaluma and Napa. See all service areas.
It depends on size, siding, condition and how much prep the surfaces need. A small interior room and a full exterior repaint on a two-story home are very different jobs. We give free, in-person estimates in Sonoma with a written scope, so you know exactly what is included before any work starts.
Late spring through early fall, when days are warm and dry. Paint and stain need dry conditions to cure, so we plan exterior work around the morning fog, summer heat on south and west walls, and the first rains. Interior painting can be done any time of year.

Yes. Older homes around the Sonoma Plaza and through the valley often need careful scraping, sanding, wood repair and the right primer before any paint goes on. We take the time on prep so the finish lasts.
